The Sugar Bowl Challenge

I have worked hard today getting my craft room back to some semblance of normality. I have just managed to finish a card for the challenge at The Sugar Bowl The sketch was by Judy and a lovely one it is too. I have used Bazzill Cardstock, SU paper, Image is Country Garden. Coloured with watercolour pens and powder shimmer paint. Punched out the leaves and little crochet flower is from my very good friend. Little stars were in a button kit. Hope to get back to my crafting now that the workmen are finished.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog. I love to read the comments and to return the visit.

Fed up now

Good morning fellow bloggers. Well as the title says I am truly fed up at the moment. Work not finished yet and looks like I won't be back to normal till Monday now. Anyway, here is a project I did last year on my embroidery machine. It is a style of embroidery called Freestanding Lace. You embroider onto Water soluble Vilene. When finished you rinse under the tap to remove the stabilizer and leave to dry. This is for hanging in the window with one of those sucker things. I have just propped it up against my window to photograph. Well workmen just arrived so will get back later.
Thanks for dropping by.

Celebrations

Hello fellow bloggers. Haven't been able to do very much this week as having major works done at home. Craft room had to be cleared for floorboards coming up so everything is stacked behind the settee and difficult to access. However managed to haul out some of it and made a simple card for the challenge at Cute Card Thursday. The theme is celebrating and I have used dinner tilda and I think she is celebrating something special. I have masked her so she is sitting on the tree trunk. I have used the Tutorial for the base card from last weeks Just Magnolia challenge. Coloured with copics. SU paper and gem brads. Cut out was done with the Top Note Die. Flowers and corner gems are papermania. Ribbon is SU white grosgrain.
Hope to be back to normal by Thursday next week. Fingers crossed.
Many thanks for visiting and leaving your lovely comments. I so enjoy reading them. I also like to visit you.

Hello again my fellow bloggers. Back today with a card for the challenge over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge. This week we had to follow a sketch by Carole .
I liked this sketch and I have used PB Soccer Boy 2460K. This stamp is a very useful one to have for boys birthdays.

Thanks for visiting and leaving comments, I love to read them and visit in return.

Mother's Day

Hello again, I have done this card for the challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. We had a colour combo of Tulip Yellow and Baby Pink with the addition of some stitching on the card. I have used a digi image and unfortunately can't remember where I downloaded it from. If someone knows can you please let me know so I can credit the company. I have a base card of Bazzill and the mount is Bazzill polka dot. I did this parchment double frame and stitched it together with gold thread. I cut the image out with a craft knife so I could mount it without losing too much of my parchment backing. The vase has a patterned cut out over it to make it look more authentic. But I'm not sure it shows that well in the picture. Fairly simple card but time consuming. Thanks for visiting me and leaving comments. I read all of them and enjoy returning the favour.
