Cards for my Sons
Here are the cards that I made for both of my sons this Christmas. I needed to wait to photograph them until my son came over to show me how to use the new camera.
The Father Christmas centres are parchment craft, coloured with pergamano inks and decoupaged. I was very pleased with them.
Any comments most appreciated.

Friday Sketchers 80
This is my card for the challenge at Friday Sketchers . It is a lovely sketch this week and I hope I have done it justice. My image is a download from the The Greeting Farm and I have coloured it with Copic pens. This is the first time I have used these and I love them. Only have a few colours at the moment but I can see that changing. My base card is Bazzill Sea Breeze, BG papers are Magenta and SU. Flowers and ladybird were in a kit that I had from QVC several years ago. Ribbon is SU. Mock stitching around mat with Sakura pen. Thanks for looking and I welcome all comments.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge 24
This week over at The Sugar Bowl the challenge is a sketch by Marlene and also to include Zig Zag. I thoroughly enjoyed doing this card, fabulous sketch to work from. I have used Going for a Spin Sugar Nellie stamp. She is coloured with watercolour pencils and I have chalked around the image. Cut out with the Big Shot top note die. Background papers are all stampin up and ribbon and gems were from stash. I have used the sewing machine to zig zag around the edge. This is my first Easel card and I was thrilled at how simple they are to do. Butterfly charm from an old QVC kit. Having some problems with the camera but hope these are ok for now.
All comments are very much appreciated. Thanks for looking and have a great week.

Friday Sketchers 76
Hi,
Today I have attempted the sketch that Aud supplied for the challenge at the Friday Sketchers Blog
I have used Dovecraft Victorian Christmas papers, Image is A Stampin Up one from the set Snow Angels. I have used SU inks to colour, Ballet Blue, Bravo Burgundy and Night of Navy. Used my new Nestabilities Labels to mount the image on. Snowflake is from an old Christmas set from QVC.
Used dimensionals to raise text and main image.
Inside is quite plain, but then I don't normally bother. Trying different things. Enjoy

Parchment craft Birthday card.
This card was a nightmare to do. There was such a lot of cutting to do on it. I must say I wasn't sorry when it was finished. This was for my Sister in Law's Birthday. Needless to say this is one design I will not be repeating. I found this pattern in an issue of Parchcraft Mag. Thanks for looking. Marion

Parchment card
Here is a card I have done in Parchment Craft. I really enjoyed doing this hummingbird. Coloured with Pergamano pencils. There was quite a bit of cutwork involved in this one. I attached the parchment to the card with PM brads. The picture taking is not very good. I can never get them to look straight. Marion

A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge No49
A Spoonful of Sugar's challenge this week is to make something with the colours Blue and Green. At first I was really stumped as it is not often I use these colours together. Anyway, I had a think about it, looked in my small stash of papers and I found a couple of sheets of K & Co papers I had bought at some time. Great, I had the start of my card. I have used a stamp from Whiff of Joy called Willow with Sunhat. This stamped image was sent to me by someone on UKS. I love this and must get the stamp.
I have also for the first time used the sewing machine to attach one of the strips of DP.
Also did decorate the inside of the card for the first time.
